There is also a fix in there for those who the application would just freeze getting the results.

When you next launch the application please auto update to version 1.9.0

I have been really quite for a while now as I have been working on some cool projects with my mentor Brad Gosse, I will be sharing more details on these projects closer to release time.

I just recently released the LSI Digger application and been manning the help desk this week to get a feel how it is working for people.

One of the users of the application would like me to add a new feature that changes the country of the searches.

Now, why do I want to KISS my app.

Well I want to Keep It Simple Stupid, and make it work without any real fuss or hard work.

But saying this I would like feedback on what my customers would like to see added in the next update. Now, this is just a conversation. I do not like to have too many buttons and features within these simple low cost applications, but I would like to have the conversation.

I would like you to leave a comment with any ideas you might have to make the application better.

The blog comments will work well as it will help you see what other might like in the application.

The fact is when you are coding software I have found it to be really really helpful to take the helpdesk tickets for that application.

It gives you a good feel with what’s working well and what’s not working. I try to make it as easy as possible for users to submit a ticket from within the application.

So there is no hiding behind the code, its all bout communicating well with your users and giving them what they want from a software application.

If you have not, then I would highly recommend it as a good read, as the suggested success principles listed throughout the book are invaluable to any entrepreneur. I could not really say how many times I have read Think & Grow Rich, but one thing that occurred to me the last time I read the book was the power of the Mastermind Principle.

The mastermind principle is described as “Coordination of knowledge and effort, in a spirit of harmony, between two or more people, for the attainment of a definite purpose.” The implications of this principle is huge! So many people who get started online with affiliate marketing or product development tend to work on their own, maybe buying e-products and tools to help them along, but not using a real mastermind of people who share their aims and goals.

I fell into this category for a long time, even after reading the book so many times over, but if their is one thing that I could put down to having any kind of success online, is to stop buying loads of products or listening to online gurus and realize that you need to implement and that you also need the support of at least one other person around you who will help you work towards your definite purpose. Do not go it alone!! This is a very overwhelming and lonely road to walk.

This is one of the weird areas of online marketing where it helps if you have very little technical skill. The less skill that you have the more likely you are to partner up with others to reach a mutual goal. For the really technically minded people out there, be mindful of this and seek the power of the mastermind when you are approaching new projects or businesses.

When I looked at my working life, relationships, health and recreation, everything seems to have gotten very confusing with all that complexity.

 

Before doing this audit on how simple or complex my life was, it had never really occurred to me to look at my whole life this way. I had heard of the acronym Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS) many times before, but I had always thought of it in isolated situations, like programing a module of software for example. Applying it to the whole of my life never really occurred to me, but it recently hit me that I could keep everything in my life simple.

 

When i started to think more about this it was like a weight being lifted off of my shoulders. Projects that I had shelved, because they need to be perfect and have a full sales funnel with up sells and down sells and cross sells . . . now for the same project, I only need to release the basic product with a sales page and a download page. There is always a version 2 right? Keeping it simple means you just get more things done.

 

Over the next few months I will be posting my results of keeping things simple. I challenge you to do an audit on your life, and if too many things are overly complicated or very complex maybe look deeper into them and see if they can work just as well or nearly as well by removing most of the complexity.
